Canada is located in the beautiful Cowichan
Valley known locally as "The Warmlands" on Vancouver
Island in British Columbia, Canada.
Duncan Lions Club is part
of District 19-I which encompasses BC, Vancouver
Island, and Olympic Peninsula, WA.
District 19-I is part of Multiple
District 19 (BC, WA and Northern Idaho). Worldwide
districts are part of Lions Clubs International
which is the largest service organization in the
world.
Duncan Lions Club is vibrant and
industrious involved in many worthwhile
community, District, Multiple District and Lions
Clubs International volunteer activities. The club
currently has 41 members and meets twice a month on
Monday at 7pm between September and June.
The Club owns and operates
Sassy Lion
Thrift Shop, manages
Lions Housing Society and
sponsors Cowichan FiddleFest. The Club manages gates
at “Capitals” hockey games, Providence Farm and
Cowichan Annual Fairgrounds.
MEETINGS
Dinner meetings
begin at 7pm on first and third Tuesdays between
September and the end of June at:
